    Open Server Browser
    (or in Steam > View > Game Servers)
  2. Select Favorites tab and click "+"
  3. Insert Fy_War IP and click OK

MadnessGaming.eu is the long-awaited return of the legendary CS 1.6 gaming portal, now fully focused on Counter-Strike 2. The Fy_War server brings back everything players loved—iconic fy maps, detailed statistics, skill rating, xp progressing, chat sounds, round-end music, killstreak sounds, and even the ability to take a dookie on defeated opponents (yes, really).

Our mission is to revive the legendary Fight Yard experience—once an iconic part of Counter-Strike history. We're not just rebuilding a community and a gaming server, we’re also crafting our own maps.

The website is under rapid development, aiming to be the new home for CS2 Madness players. By logging in, you can manage your in-game profile and configuration, track stats, and engage with the community.

Maps with Madness custom weapon spawns (cliffside, new2000, aim_ancient, ar_shoots and ar_dizzy) will now give random weapon to a player instead of spawning them to the ground as since last CS2 update, server spawned weapons are bugged(invisible).

Ingame chat sounds are now separated into 4 categories by language. EN, DE, CZ and Other. You can choose which languages you want to be allowed for you and the rest gets completely muted. Configuration is on the website in "Fy War Server" section. You can see all possible sounds by typing !sounds <language> (eg: !sounds en)

CS XP Update! Added commands !xp and !topxp to track your progress. You can now choose how XP is displayed—on-screen as a banner or in chat. Easily configure this on the web or in-game with !xpchat and !xpbanner <on/off>. Enjoy!

We've replaced the old Points plugin with a brand-new XP system, built from scratch! All existing points have been migrated to XP at a set ratio, and XP is now fully visible in MadStats. The Points table on the homepage is no longer updated and will soon be removed.

The skill calculation system has been refined to include a diminishing multiplier for newcomers which gradually fades as players continue to play and collect more statistics, ensuring that limited data does not cause unrealistic spikes in skill values.

fy_nuke - The safest plant in the world

In todays episode of World's Best Plants we headed to Rust Belt in United States. Cedar Creek: the safest plant in the world. Madness fourth original map is inspired by the upper A bombsite of de_nuke and its surrounding combat spaces - Lobby, Heaven, and Ramp - the layout has been rebuilt for pure fy‑style aggression. Several classic elements return while others have been re‑engineered to sharpen flow and vertical play.

- Heaven is fully open again, restored to its original 1.6/Source design and now accessible from two different sides, creating new crossfire and rotation paths.
- Hut features a window once more, enabling fast peeks, utility bounces, and high‑risk entry duels.
- Ramp connects directly into A, allowing explosive pushes and forcing defenders to hold multiple elevation threats at once.
- Selective door changes: some sealed, some reopened - tighten the map’s rhythm and eliminate dead space while preserving Nuke’s signature claustrophobic tension.
- The result is a compact, symmetrical arena where verticality, timing, and angle discipline decide every round.

We’re proud to unveil FY_TRAIN – Forgotten Arsenal, the third official Madness Original map for CS2. Inspired by bombsite A from de_train, the layout has been mirrored and enhanced for close-quarters combat. Ladders return, verticality matters, and every corner could be your last. It’s already live on the Fy_War server, and we can’t wait to see how players adapt to its brutal layout.

Second Madness Original map is here! This is not your standard Fight Yard experience - but since 1hp maps have a strong legacy in fy_ servers we decided to bring one into CS2. The map is inspired by original CS 1.6 creation "1hp" by "poboo", which inspired creation of whole 1hp_ map category. Known for its unique gameplay where players start with only 1 health point, it offers a thrilling high-risk, high-reward challenge. fy_sponge - New Madness Original Map

We are proud to present fy_sponge, the first-ever map entirely crafted by our team. With its release, we’re launching a brand-new section on our website—Workshop, where players will find the Madness Originals Portfolio featuring our growing collection of fy maps.

This map’s layout was inspired by fy_spongebob, a beloved CS 1.6 map created by H!F!. While fy_sponge has been completely rebuilt from scratch, keeping only the core layout, we wanted to pay tribute to its legacy. Since the original name no longer fit, we kept "Sponge" as a nod of respect—crafting a new story to make it feel right at home in CS2. This is just the beginning of our mission to revive the nostalgic, adrenaline-fueled fy experience that once defined Counter-Strike.
